Beyond Electric Dreams: Elon Musk's Watch Collection of Distinction | chronos_man

Elon Musk's watch collection by chronos_man

Have you ever wondered about how the wrist watch collection of the world's richest man (Sep 2021 - Dec 2022) would look like.

I have, and I bet you have had too. Elon Musk's net worth was $250 Billion as of Nov 2022.

As he is known for being the tripple CEO of Tesla, SpaceX & Twitter, while also being the founder of The Boring Company, Neuralink & OpenAI.

Elon shure has alot on his plate for one 51 yr old man.

For a man worth $250 Billion dollars, he is well capable of blowing that fortune on the most expensive watch on the planet (The Patek Philippe 4975/1G)"The Queen Elizabeth Watch", which is valued at aproximately $50 Million.

While Elon isn't a "watch guy" he has previously been spotted wearing some exquisite timepieces.

Take for example the "Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra" 41mm stainless steel bracelet worth about $4,000, the "Rolex Date Just 16200" worth about $9,000, the "Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Space X Chronograph" worth about $5,000 which was released (as a limited edition) by Tag Heuer in 2012 to mark the 50 yr anniversary of the Carrera being the first watch to be worn in Space.

Elon has also been spotted flexing one of the most exclusive watch brand, the "Richard Mille RM005" worth around $140,000.

Elon Musk's watch collection seems to say that he is a very modest guy in regards to the taste of his wrist watches, unless you start counting up his ginormous aquisitions of companies like Twitter & building rockets that can land themselves back to earth, his horological taste suggest's him to be minimalist & austere.

Elon Musk - "Top E", is also suspected to be hiding an "Omega Speedmaster X-33 Gen 2" a watch designed for "Intergalactic travel", in 2010 the watch was seen on asronaut Bob Behnken right before the SpaceX mission was aborted for bad wheather.

First launched in 1998, it was designed with General Tom Stafford, a former NASA Apollo X pilot.

The watch is said to have a particularly "special feature" called a MET, shorthand for ‘Mission Elapsed Time’, which tracks the amount of time that has passed from when the mission begins, essential when you can’t rely on knowing what time of day or night it is in deep space.

Although Elon has not been spotted wearing one of these, he most definitely has one stashed somewhere in his drawer.

While it hasn't been confirmed whether any of Elon's watch collection can handle mars, the Billionaire CEO surely has a delightful taste.

About this blog

You can tell that Chronos_Man is a 24/7 watch lover. Every night my dreams keep ticking to 7:00 AM like clockwork.

If someone asked me why I love watches so much, I couldn't give a straight answer.

It would be like asking a rich man why he spent $50 Million on a Yacht, or the one who has 5 Bugatti's. To some it will look silly to spend so much money on something, to few that is "chumpchange".

It doesn't matter where you stand, someone else will always have a different opinion from yours.

But when it comes to watches, these small while meaningfull accessories ooze intelect, style and sophistication.

Unlike expensive cars that give a loud statement, watches are quiet and intellingent way of sharing a part of your personality with the rest of the world.
